The Sam situation may result as with Steve where you dont join the rich people club BC you are too focused on making money for the organization or in boris case, the person. I'd say with a regular, even medical academic salary of 200k I can support family (dad still sick may not because for long) till really 60 or 65 but won't be able to retire and certainly not have assets. Not sure what to do but wondering id there is a way forward. I want to be supportive to steve and not a burden. I understand his predicament . as I understand yours. yours is more complicated.. I think your involvment with anything that generates a profit is a bad idea.
