AFFIDAVIT OF MICHAEL FRIEDMAN STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority personally appeared having personal knowledge and being duly sworn, deposes and says: 1. My name is Michael Friedman, and I reside at 53320 Avenida Madero, La Quinta, California. 2. In approximately 2003, my wife and I worked for Mr. Epstein as co- house managers (domestic couple) for approximately 9 months. 3. On Sunday, October 25, 2009, two white males came to my wife's and my home and rang the doorbell. I went to the door and asked who they were. One of the white males, who later identified himself as Michael Fisten, EFTA_R1_00010667 EFTA01733929 may have said that he was an FBI agent, but certainly said that he was from the Homicide Division of the Miami-Dade Police Department. A badge was then quickly flashed. Both men indicated that they were doing an official police investigation relating to Jeffrey Epstein. 4. But for the affirmative representation that Mr. Fisten was working for either the FBI or certainly for the Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide Division, we never would have opened our door and let them into our home. 5. Mr. Fisten asked many questions regarding Mr. Epstein. We told Mr. Fisten that we had signed a confidentiality agreement that prevented us from discussing any matter whatsoever involving Mr. Epstein. At that point, he became pushy and attempted to intimidate us and handed us papers for a deposition. 6. Both of the males continued to coerce my wife and me to admit that Mr. Epstein had molested young females. We continued to decline to comment. FURTHER THE AFFIANT SAYETH NAUGHT.
