Jeffrey,
Pm very pleased with "Plane Perfect Interiors" (formerly Jet Aviation Interior Shop) approach to rectify the
Arm rest issues.
1-they fabricated an aluminum angle iron to move the arm rest fwd, this will enable us to cover the whole that
Toy store covered with simple leather at attach point of arm rest on aft bulk head.
2-We lowered the arm rest by cutting to attach points so the arm rest equals the height of the wood ledge as
you requested.
3-by lowering the arm rest we where able to eliminate the hokey leather flap at the bottom of the arm rest also.
4-we installed synthetic shims to the arm rest hinge point to firm up arm rest movement and reduce the wobble
when arm rest is extended. We have firm contact with lower seat cushion when arm rest is extended.
I hope you'll be pleased.
My plan is to depart Monday morning to St Thomas with the helicopter, the arm rest will be completed Sunday
afternoon. Weather is terrible this weekend in Palm Beach and forecast to clear by Monday.
Thank you,
Larry
