I am getting very concerned about how all this is going to affect Noam. They don't seem to be willing to allow any changes (not even for tax payments). It seems to be also a question of control at least in approving or disapproving our expenses, something that Noam doesn't want and doesn't allow, as well as I don't. It is a complete inversion of roles. They think the money is theirs and not Noam's and they have to make the decisions. They are never going to feel comfortable approving anyone that doesn't respond directly to them. And the whole situation is very sad to Noam. Not fair at all. Surreal. I would like to arrange for Max to step down as trustee of the marital trusts. All that this requires is that each of you authorize him to do so. I've explained some of the reasons. There are others. In general, I want to make a clean break from what has been happening for the past few years. I would then like to appoint Richard Kahn as Trustee. As you know, he is the financial advisor/accountant I have been working with, extremely competent and trustworthy. I hope this can be done quickly and expeditiously.
