Those of you who are staying at the Disney Yacht Club resort (all but two of you) should have received your email confirmation from Disney regarding arrival and departure dates. Disneyworld is about 45 min from Orlando airport. There are free Disney shuttles from the airport, and taxis cost about $50. You won't need a car on site as we are walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood theme parks and there are shuttles to the monorail and other parks. We sent you a few days ago an excel spreadsheet with the Disney Ticket Pass numbers assigned to your name. (We are attaching it here again for your convenience) We have the physical cards with us, and you can pick them up from us at the hotel (or hopefully at the reception desk when you check in). If you want to plan things in advance you can set up an account at the web site below, and link your ticket numbers with that account to allow you to make fast pass bookings for various rides. reserve restaurants etc. Meals: Nancy and I have already made reservations for a number of meals. We have dinners and lunches set up in various theme parks as you can see below. Our reservations at Marrakesh on Sunday eve and Biergarten on Monday eve and lunch at the Crystal Palace on Wed will accommodate everyone who wants to join us. These restaurants generally cost about $3040 pp. The other reservations are for smaller groups, so please contact us if you want to join us at those venues. We will be having breakfasts at the hotel each morning at 9 am or so, and would be happy to have you join us if you wish. It is a 5-minute walk across the lagoon from the Yacht Club hotel. There will be a shuttle for those who don't want to walk. We will start with drinks, munchies and music in a relaxed atmosphere. The ceremony will take place in the Attic at 5 pm, followed by mingling and dancing, if you are in the mood. Dinner will be served at 6. At 7:30 pm, we will all board a van that will take us to the backstage entrance at Epcot, where we will continue our celebrations at another location with dessert and fireworks. This will end around 9:30 pm. A van will be available for those who want a ride back to the hotel, and others can walk back on their own, or continue partying in one of the many bars and restaurants around the parks and on the boardwalk. DRESS will be casual. Guests 25 family and friends will be attending the wedding: 7 from Australia, 2 from Canada, and 18 from the US. We still intend to send out bios and photos of this group but are waiting on a few more submissions before doing so. (If you haven't already sent yours in, please do before the 27th). Departing: Most of you are leaving on the 9th. Keep in mind that you should allow at least 45 min to get to the airport, and then perhaps 1.5 hours or so at the airport before your flight, as Orlando airport can be crowded.
