Concerning your questions to the Palasi Sturany Schottenring 21, I am working on it to
get the original plans (I am waiting for the permission of the owner to go to the
Magistrat) — the owners doubt, that the original plans exist ... but I want to make sure,
that this was the right information. Anyway if I can't find the original ones, there are
some plans out of a book, which could give you an idea.
Concerning your questions about state of the art electricity, air condition, bathrooms,
modern kitchen, we have to deal with the"Bundesdenkmalamt" the Preventation of
Historical Monuments: I called them to ask, if it would be in general difficult to integrate
a modern technique into this building. In general they are willing to work together, they
are interested to find a solution for questions like ours, but they can't give us any
estimation as long as we don't know the details. I would suggest, that you work out ( if
you would like with an architect if you want, we could suggest you some) , what and
where in the building, it would be important for you to place (location of bathrooms,
kitchen , toilets, air condition, electricity ....) and then we discuss it with the
Bundesdenkmalamt. Then we know, what we have to expect.
Furthermore I got the information by the owners, that the roof is dry and generally in
good condition. The origin of the obvious damage caused by water is repaired and the
wall there is dry, the rest of the building seems to be dry, except one part in the court
yard.
