I want to put together a drawing for you but I need to clarify a couple of things first. • So the building was not erected according to plans. it was modified somewhat in the field? The building was a fully sheeted building. So the erector opened up the left end wall to 87 and the back side wall to 10'6' but was sheeted 5'6" past the roof of the 14" slab. How deep is the retaining wall? • Are the (2) 12' x 14' daces on the marked up drug you sent back (front side wall and right end wall) to be included in these locations? Na we adcing a third roflup door in bay N3 of the front side wall where you currently have a 1S' rough opening? Assuming the above is correct this is what I would propose. We previously had the left end wall as a flush gin ccndibcn. I would change it to a bypass gin so that the girl would extend 10"(depth of girt) past the face of the column. This way a) the panel would lap over the retaining wall(rf it is 10' or less deep) for a good seal and b) would allow us to shift the columns in tr. This will dear the existing anchor bolts which will be cut off and providing the pier is sufficient in width, would save a whole lot of time and labor on those (4) left end wall columns. I'd leave the back side wall open to 10'6'. sheet above the roof and provide a wall to roof flashing. I'm assuming the slab is all even elevation? I think If we change the bay spacings slightly(less than a foot in most cases) we can avoid having to do a lot of the demolition. What do you balk? Regards. Subject: Fwd: 40x60 bldg. Good afternoon Brian. I thought that this might help understanding how the building was Installed. The only openings are as marked up. I will gather the Information tomorrow that we discussed. Begin forwarded message: From: michael glidden < > Subject: 40)(60 bldg.
