Heli update, I confirmed the S76 will definitely fit inside the STT hanger, the blade diameter of the
Bell 430 is 42' blade diameter.
S76 is 44' blade diameter.
No updates from Heli Broker, Matt Walter Guardian Jet,. I spoke to him yesterday, appears we should get a
response early next week, only thing he mentioned, since the Heli is fairly new to the Market, the counter offer
will not be that attractive to us, and they await 2 other showings next week, typical Broker response.
GIV
I spoke to Geordan last night, I informed him about the 50/50 split of CPDLC install at $400k, he was excited
about that information.
Deal would be: $2.8M cash upfront, plus $10k per month for 24 months.
He said he will speak with his Father, George and get back to me. I told Geordan I flew the GIV to Orlando on
Jan 26th to show the plane to a High profile Sports figure that is ready to pull the trigger with an offer. First he
chuckled and said, really? I said, yes„ I took a photo with Russell Wilson with a time stamp to backup my claim.
You should also be aware,
Geordan asked about upcoming maintenance on the GIV, I have not answered his request yet, I met with Pete
last night and viewed the upcoming Due List for the GIV,. It's not terrible, but a new Buyer like Geordan, could
be concerned.
***The GIV should have been sold by now and this would have been someone else's issue.
We have some 36 month items due April 1st this year, about 60 days away, on the GIV, its Not a 36month
inspection, the man hour labor is quoted at 231 man-hours, ($150.00 per hour estimate) is about $34,650 is labor,
typically we double this figure for issues found during an inspection, its safe to say, this could be a $75k event or
higher.
The 36 month items are attached in these 6 pages, mostly, internal Wing inspection, internal Vertical and
Horizontal Stabilizer inspection, also, they remove the leading edge of the wings looking for corrosion etc.
mainly time consuming inspections.
There is a caveat, of an additional 185 man hours of labor, if there is serious corrosion findings, Gulfstream
always quotes the worse case scenario, such as 100 man hours to remove the Vertical Stabilizer if corrosion is
found, that would be considered a worse case of course, I certainly DO NOT expected that to happen.
Maybe these 36month items could be his preBuy, since he will be responsible for labor, and we pay the repairs?
Pls advise what I should inform Geordan about upcoming maintenace?
Thx
Larry
