Murray: She is an icon in the world of fashion and couture. She is world famous. Al: I doubt anyone attending will have heard of her Murray: Really? Al: Murray, everyone attending knows who you are, but knowing this group, not only would I predict that they will not have heard of her, but they will be indifferent to her success. Fame depends upon the circle you are in. This is not a group that at all cares about fashion or high couture. For example, Gerrald Sussman's, who is coming, main contribution in these fields is coming up with a pocket protector that says "Nerd Pride." Murray: I have one of those. Al: Well, now she may get one too. Understand that this group will come in a mixture of styles, mistakes, and statements. Better pre-warn her that this is a different sort of crowd. There will be lessons on how to eat and throw fire, not how to have proper etiquette. Murray: That's pretty funny.
