Cooking Steak in Cast Iron I The Constant Flip Method
In this video, Jeffery B. Rogers cooks an extra-thick ribeye steak in a Lodge cast iron skillet
using what he calls 'The Constant Flip Method.' It is a method used by some chefs in
which the steak is flipped every 3o seconds until a beautiful brown crust is formed. One
of the tips is to first cook using only sea salt and vegetable oil. And then during the last
several flips of the steak.... add your rub seasoning, butter and herbs.
