The foundation has returned funds for a few people who have asked, although they are playing hardball and toeing to the line of the agreement. If anyone's contributions, adding up to more than 4K came from Dec 2016 instead of Jan 2017, for example, they have refused to return any money. Also, if anyone contributed less than $4k, they have refused to return the funds.. In every case they say that most of the money has been spent, although they have said they have partially returned funds from major donors and have returned funds from recent donors.. In any case, can you ensure that Black at least asks for their money back before Jan 15? I hate to think of $1.3M being left there for them to move to some stupid project. Also would be good if someone would ask them for an accounting of funds. Moving forward on the Origins Project Foundation stuff.. 1023 form goes to IRS this coming week.. When it is in, we can begin to accept donations, and have about $35K lined up so far... and planning for first events in fall of 2019.. and have also lined up some guests for first few podcasts for my podcast.
