This follows Norwegian NRK N's news reports about Palestinian Media Watch's findings and the recent debate in parliament. The following is the Norwegian NRK TV news report: "The Parliamentary Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs requests the Foreign Ministry to document that Norwegian aid is not going to pay Palestinian terrorists in prison. The Palestinian Authority has a separate financial support [program] for prisoners convicted of security offenses, including terrorism. Norway is one of the biggest financial contributors to the Palestinian Authority." The request for information by the committee was sent to the Foreign Minister. If the committee is not satisfied with the Foreign Minister's response, a committee hearing could be called.
