And I hope this letter finds you in a good place. I used to come to your Palm Beach home and do massages. I was married then and became pregnant. My daughter, is 8 now. You bought some floral arrangements from me for your caribbean home. You always told me I needed more calcium....to chew a few tums everyday! You used to crack my neck and we would have good conversations. I felt like you were a friend and a mentor. You encouraged me to go to school and helped me with my tuition. I completed my BSN, bachelors of science in nursing, in 2005. Thank you. I have been working as an RN in the field of cardiology and also still doing massage therapy in addition to doing private yoga training. I know you have gone thru a lot. Without getting into any of that I just wanted you to know that i always thought you were a good hearted person. I know you are very much into science and research and that is why I am writing to you. I need your help again if you wouldn't mind. I finished my degree in 2005, got my bachelors in nursing and became an RN specializing in cardiolotai divorced in 2008. And was shortly after hospitalized and diagnosed with a rare muscle disorder called In 2009 I had to file bankruptcy and hit a low point financially but went and did my yoga training and became a certified yoga instructor. So now I'm a massage therapist, yoga teacher, and nurse:) In 2011, I had another dailiter, who is now just over a year old, with a man I was in a relationship with but that has since ended. was diagnosed with a rare syndrome called and has had 5 surgeries and thankfully is beginning to do well now. She will need more surgeries as she gets older. Its been very hard. Her father walked out on us 6 months ago and I've been taking care of her all on my own. I'm not writing a sob story here as I view this experience as a blessing in disguise. My experience with her has led me to want to go back to school for my masters so that i can work as a nurse practitioner in the field of genetics and get involved in genetic research. I am starting back in October and I was hoping you would be so generous as to help me get thru school again. It is a 2 year accelerated program at South University in west palm beach. The cost is $7,000 per quarter...8 quarters...$56000 total. Does your foundation offer scholarship money or short term loans to help people like me go to school? I am trying to get my life on track and now am a single mother to two girls, one with special needs. My longterm goal is to assist with advancing the field of genetic research to aid in developing preventative measures, better diagnostic and treatment measures and help cures be discovered so that children and families do not have to suffer unnecessarily. Im really struggling right now and hoping you can help me. I don't know if you're ever in palm beach but it would be great to see you to discuss my situation further.
