Rich
regarding this morning conversation about the Rock Wall proposal and the Bosses concerns I wish to confirm the following
The Various Mockups shown to the Boss where constructed by Jose and his 6 crew, not by Zorro personal
None of the existing crew have the skill set to construct walls of this nature, quality and in the required time frame
EFTA00826296
As discussed with the Boss on his last visit, as wall section s are completed, Zorro Personal would be performing irrigation and
planting. In the mean time they are working on the irrigation at Lodge, which will be completed this week
Ranch Central Irrigation starts next week. Spring clean up and maintenance of all locations continues
As stated I am having a hard enough time to find qualified people (legal) to pickup rocks, the one guy I have sourced was via Jose
Regarding the construction of the walls
Due to the small nature of the walls and the 4% grade the Walls are to be built on, Jose is recommending footing and glue to hold
them in place.
If the Boss feels this is not necessary, then Jose will construct walls with out support.
Lastly if I felt comfortable self performing this to the required standard and time frame we would mostly certainly would.
Please advise on how we are to proceed
Regards Brice

attached photos of the first Wall Mock Up for your consideration
Side Stacked using the existing block footing as an example, this would be the quickest method.
The Dry-stack would have minor footing and no mortar, a lot more labor intensive and would use lot more material.
The Dry-stack wall height 24w x 18h,
One large dump truck load will do approx 4011 of wall
which do you prefer, dry-stack or side stack

Attached drawing for your consideration
Can you please confirm the wall heights,
24W x 12H for outer mowed grassed areas
18W x 18H for middle beds stipa grass areas
18 W x 24H for center bed with trees and lavender bed.
Is this OK ?
