The attached reflects the OT worked by Noel and Thomas (2 officers on post at time of death) and (Officer
verbally notified to provide cell mate).
Note that Thomas works in Warehouse. His Daily Assignment Card only reflects overtime worked. His regular
schedule is 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, indicating he was off on days he worked Sat/Sun OT, and was
off the 8 hours prior to his overtime. Since he is not a Correctional Officer, none of these OT's would have been
a mandates and the fact they are all on morning watch means they are not augmentations. He signed up and
requested overtime on these dates.

Per our discussion, it would be helpful to get a short description of the staffing issues at the MCC,
including (1) the OT for the staff in question and (2) OT issues at the MCC generally.
Thanks,
