Subject: Reputation Economics - the book is out!
Note: I by not to send email updates like this more than once a year. if yottd rather not get stuff like this from me just reply with

You're getting this email because I consider you an important part of my network. I've
been thinking a lot about this because I've got a book coming out (MacMillan,
Nov 5th) that dives deeply into the power of reputation over money. The premise
is that emerging technologies are causing relationships to take primacy over
finance - that tech is helping people connect to people, and in the process is killing
currency as the main method of commerce (more info on the book is below).
I figured that the best way to test this idea was to put it into practice by sharing the book
with people like you, someone I've connected with who might find the topic
interesting. I've got permission to share a limited number of digital copies, so if
you'd like one, please let me know.
The concept of a future with many methods of exchange, based on relationships instead of
centralized finance, is an intriguing one. I'm curious to hear what you think!
Many, many thanks,
Josh
### About The Book ###
Reputation Economics is about how your network is the most powerful thing you have -
and all the technological changes underway that are making this so. From the
pending rise of the black market to emerging economies' incipient onramping to
the internet, social technologies are set to shatter the primacy of finance as a
means of exchange. It's an unusual take on the future of currency, commerce, and
social technology from a perspective that nobody has covered before.
