Hi Jeffery.
Please see the attached rough diagram based on our conversation yesterday. If this looks like what you
were thinking, we can refine this, and study it in section.
General comments from yesterday:
Hold off on Living Room and Guest Cottage design.
Focus on pool location, and circulation.
o Primary circulation from master bedroom to kitchen, and master bedroom to library.
o Primary circulation from main residence to pool area.
o Secondary circulation from master bedroom to pool.
Move pool east and south for more protection, and semi-privacy.
Lower pool 8' to 10' below main garden. Watch out for "tall walls" around pool area (like at existing
office).
Raise landscaping to hide pool wall.
Add back bathroom by existing office to complete the plan of that area symmetrically.
Align stair from master bedroom to kitchen, with centerline of kitchen.
