The hedges are crucial since they need to get in the ground as soon as possible, to start to block that area from the wind, and also provide privacy adding to the "personal Garden feel" The Hedges have to be put in first, also since they "frame" the flowers so to speak. If you would let me know which type of flowers you would like, for that area I will be able to calculate how many plants we will need to cover that space, and I will then be able to calculate a total cost. * Please note that I will search Local V.I. sources, as well as Puerto Rico and Florida to try to find the best quality and price. As for the Flowers you wanted, to be colorful and Beautiful! considering that area, how it is somewhat shaded, however cooler in temperature as well, I think Heliconia would be the best family of flowers to choose from. Red Ginger, Lobster claw, White Shell Ginger (which also have a nice fragrance) or orange and yellow Heliconia Here are some example photos, for you to see and make your choice.
