On Sat, Nov 13, 2010 at 1:59 AM, ion nicola wrote: hi jeffrey, ..i just saw the pictures imad sent you, and what you said about the drawings.., and yes in the pictures those figures look big but in real they dont look big. do ypu remember when i did that samples on the ceiling a few months ago.. that scene from escorial, you liked that but you said to make the figures bigger, like 50%, somehow you wanted their had to go over that border... you said to make them look like giants, so i make them with 50% bigger, and in fact look good this way. at the begining when you said to make them bigger i wasn't sure that theyy gonna look good in that space, but now i have to say that the entire scene looks good with those figures going over that border. i think you have to see in real, in the pictures you dont get the sense of how it looks. ..and i didnt do anything religious like "the last soupper.," the entire scene is with figures from the greek filosophy school and about that school... i copyed scenes from the escorial, i attached here pictures with scenes i used: picture no I (philosophia: platon, socratcs, seneca, arisrotel) i used the entire scene picture no 2 (there are two doors, one is the truth the other one is the lie..and someone who doesnt know which one to choose) i used the entire scene but i didnt put the figures in the back...it would look too crowded in our ceiling. picture no 3 ..is astrologia, i used only the big figure..i didnt put those angels... picture no 4 i didnt use that yet, but i was thinking to use that too (religia..like part of greek philosophy school) besides these i used two more figures i dont have in my comp, ..from one of those books...
