Gulfstream IV, Serial No. 1085, Registration No. N212JE
Divan-
JE notes that the foam build up on the GIV is different than the Glib. Additionally. JE states that the foam
densities on the new back and bottom cushions of the divan in the GIV are different and noticeable when
you deploy the divan to the berthing position. I want to open up both divans to personally see and identify
the foams that were used. Bottom line is that Jeffrey wants us to use the foam from the Glib in the new
upholstery for the GIV. Divan seat bottom has no support on divan edge, also needs to open with one
motion, currently you have to lift the bottom seat cushion from velcrow to allow seat back to fall in BED
position.
Entry Curtain-
Jeffrey had noted previously that he would like the gap between the top of the entry rain curtain and the
headliner kept to an absolute minimum to help keep the noise out from the entry door to the cabin.
Doors -
There are a couple of door in the galley and aft lavatory that opened in flight.
Aft Lavatory to Baggage Door-
JE identified that the door would not latch properly in flight. Need felt or padding on bottom of Microwave
tambour door to prevent rattles
Tables-
JE noted difficulty in the deployment / stowing of the side ledge tables in flight (trim / adjust). Extend the
amount of material routed out in the table lids(see photo) to allow easier access for passengers and paint
as existing. Table arms need to be supported after deployment so that there is no space to allow for
"spring board" type action. Clear rubber/Felt micro pads for tray tables halves, when stowing table the two
wood surfaces meet. VIP tray tables still rattles. When tray tables are open, the mechanism that holds
table top firm rests on fabric side panel, it was discussed to fabricate Titanium or stainless steel (waterfall
decorative type of cap to this area would allow the tray table to rest on this surface firming table top,
>board issue still exists.

Entertainment System -
Obviously we need to send the battery back-up out for repair/ replacement so that it holds the prescribed
settings of the head unit. Subwoofer need air-port drilled to allow air passage, the rear sub appears inop
or lower power output
Headphones-
Plug-In headphones have no volumne, or very low volumne, the jacks across from divan are totally
INOP, plus loose face plates.
Conference Pedestal-
The decorative trim ring at the base of the conference table pedestal vibrates. Trim ring rattles in flight
and rides up pedestal as if it was ringing a bell.
IJH #2 Single Seat-
JE noted that when compared to the Rh-I #2 seat, the electric seat function controls are not sequenced
the same (fwd / middle / aft switch functions). Additionally, JE would like to know if there is a way to "limit'
the recline on this seat so that the passenger does not "crush" the back of the aft facing double seat?
Jeffrey's VIP seat when reclining the seat back rubs leather on upper portion of arm rest, causes motor to
labor when extending.
Main Cabin Area Fluorescent Lighting-
As identified prior to flight, there are certain lights in the upwash / downwash lighting that are inoperative
and/or intermittent.
Ft/H Galley-
Difficulty deploying the fwd slide out cutting board in flight.
Galley and Lavatory Door/Drawers-
JE had requested we apply the clear / felt (whichever works best) bumpers to prevent the doors and
drawers from rattling. NO HARDBUMPERS TO TRANSFER VIBRATION. Aft lay door hinges below sink
are loose when doors are open. JE would like a spring door cut into current lay trash container, to access
trash container, the trash can in rear lay is not secured and rattles, needs to be secured. currently you
have to open the trash door to access the trash container held inside, need to cut out the opening in wood
door, and match the opening in the trash container inside.
Credenza Insert-
Replace the inserts with new dividers lined with cork.
Cockpit Camera-
This item MUST be rectified / functional prior to delivery.
RfH #2 VIP Master Switch Panel-
JE had previously requested that we look into if MCC could reprogram the two (2) discarded switch
functions to control the shades "ALL UP' and ALL DOWN".
Conference Table Cup Holders-
Install two (2) chrome plated cup holders in the fwd leaf (bottom side) in between the two compartments.
Larry has photo showing JE's location for these items.

Cabin Temp Sensors-
The Cabin Temp sensors are not working properly, the cockpit indicators read very high temperature, this
is also causing the APU not allowing the cabin to get full cold, I may suggest IJI open an work order an
have Julian's guys (ExcelAir) investigate this issue, we have a -150APU now and should cool the cabin
better, there are two cabin temp sensors in passenger interior compartment, one is located in seat base
of #1 R/H seat, other is fwd of divan in side panel, maybe these sensors are not plugged in when interior
was install?
Master Shades-
Master shades are stuck in open position now, shades do not close either master close switch or all
individual switches, they need to adjusted.
Arm Rest Covers-
Leather arm rest covers are required as mentioned in the early days of this project, the arm rest show
wear already from installation process
R/H #2 Seat Cup Holder-
Need i-Phone lightening cord phone charger hard wired for VIP seat, JE mentioned a lightening cord to
come up from bottom of cup holder, since his phone sits in Cup holder during flight.
