In 2013, the Institute convened 125 separate events, with more than 11,000 participants. These range from our trademark Global Conference, to meetings of our Global Capital Markets Advisory Council, to workshops of nonprofit disease foundations through the Research Acceleration and Innovation Network. Our DC-based Center for Financial Markets held regular congressional staff briefings and policy roundtables, and our Milken Institute Fellows in Israel met often to review their work on economic development.
