RE: Medical Malpractice Insurance under Title 27 V.I.C. §166e Payment Due Date
The Virgin Islands Department of Health (DOH) is firmly committed to you during this process of recovery from
Hurricanes Irma and Maria. We understand that you are going through a difficult situation and DOH has therefore offered
an Automatic six (6) weeks extension to the Medical Malpractice Insurance Premium payments. The October I, 2017
due date has been extended to November IS, 2017 as follows:
I. Medical Malpractice Insurance Premiums that were due on October I. 2017 are now due on November 15,
2017.
2. The medical provider is eligiblefor an automatic six (6) weeks extension if the insurance payment was
scheduled for October I. 2017.
3. Please note that the DOH Risk Management Office is open and accepting payments at the following locations:
