He is making the statement not me. The Chinese investor bought it for a gambling operation in Asia but never put it into service. The last flight on the aircraft was in July 2016. The aircraft is sitting in Kelowna BC at a friend of mines maintenance facility. The aircraft has been for sale for over 2 years and still it just sits. Original Asking Price 24.5 million and today down to $ 19.9 million USD . Here is the Bad / Good news on May 22nd in just 2 weeks , it cannot fly anymore , it needs a major C-Check. Cost 1.5 - 2.0 million USD. Today, Just today , my partner received a call directly from the Owner saying SELL THE AIRCRAFT, SELL THE AIRCRAFT , Just bring me an Offer AS/IS Where /Is . The C-Check must be the responsibility of the new Owner PERIOD. He is s000000 serious , I'm not kidding. The Owner wants out....NOW !!! WE think the Owner might except under 10.0 BUT IT HAS TO BE A QUICK , NO NONSENSE DEAL. We are dealing direct with the Owner and there are no existing brokerage agreements. The last Boeing 757 ( Shari Arison ) sold for 25.0 million 8 weeks ago and for sure it wasn't as good as this one. Lastly , I have other potential Buyers for this aircraft But I only brought the deal to you. You please need to tell me ASAP whether or not you are interested in this unbelievable aircraft , because for sure I will do my very best to sell the aircraft this week.
