Thanks, Gigi!
Hi Mike -
Following up on Gigi's email it: Brian and National Geographic Brain Games -
Which of the two words do you hear? Laurel or Yanny?
Might you be available Thursday or Friday to discuss via Skype? Would love to hear what you have in mind.
Also, there are a few auditory illusions that would be cool to synthesize and play for the show - two of which I
corresponded with former colleague George Martin about because two of his Beatles orchestrations had effects
similar to two created in laboratories a few yrs earlier by psychologist Roger Shepard at Stanford and composer
Jean-Claude Risset in France.
Cheers,
Mark

- do you happen to have email handy?
- I'm polling The Institute for Music & Brain Science Advisory Board. What do you hear?

Did you email back with Brian? I though it would be good for you to potentially get visibility on the brain science side of
this.
Mike Shapiro is helping him recreate it technically. This was a big Meme back in May, with WAY too much press
coverage back then:

Greetings, friends and colleagues -
Have you seen/heard this "illusion"?

There's a Natl Geo producer in Boston who is interested in covering this and trying to create a new
one.To me, it's tunambiguously "Laurel". What do you here?
Best,
Mark
