To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Boyd "Boyzie" Todrnan• Director and Preside
nt of the Zero Tolerance Basketball
Organization, Inc. The organization was founded in 1996
by former senator Allison Petrus and
has been a successful and rewarding organization within the commu
nity. Senator Petrus saw the
need to form the organization to offer the youths in the commu
nity an opportunity to showcase
and enhance their basketball and interpersonal skills. The
name "Zero Tolerance" says what we
stand for, a drug and violence free organization and community.
For the years since our inception, the organization has been
primarily sponsored and funded by
the Government of the Virgin Islands. Local businesses and
other local organizations have also
contributed to our activities over the years. As our commu
nity grows, I now see the need to
expand the organization to include basketball clinics, additio
nal tournaments, and other
developmental clinics and conferences. In addition, I envisio
n having partnership with the British
Virgin Islands.
I am writing this letter to offer you an opportunity to take part
in our organization in your own
way. You can present monetary donations or offer mercha
ndise as you deem appropriate. As
previously stated, we intend to reach more youths within the
community and have year round
clinics, tournaments, conferences, and other off island activities.
The estimated cost necessary to operate our local yearly
programs and off-island trips is
approximately $100,000. Attached is a breakdown of the
monies for our locally planned
activities and newspaper articles. The additional monies will
be used to help defray the cost of 2
invitational tournaments on the mainland in March for 17&U
Boys and in July for 17&U Boys &
Girls. This would be a memorable opportunity for our youngsters
to showcase their talents. Your
tax-deductible donation will he well received and all sponsors
will be provided advertisement on
our program t-shirts. Our Organization is certified as 501(e) status.
Please give generously...11 takes a village to raise a child.
Thank you in advance. Your
contributions will greatly be appreciated. If you have any questio

or (340) 626-4420. Please make all checks payable to:
