Yes, I know, I spoke to Darren last night at length,
I have been thinking about this for a long time, and have several scenarios I am
working on to present to you.
Give me a little more time, I was planning to get a 30 or 60 day insurance
extension for Dave about his training, its not an Federal Air Reg issue, its an
insurance requirement for training every 12 months, his Gulfstream school cost
$9,900.00 FYI.
One main Question I need to know that plays into this decision: will we fly the
boeing much?
We are now operating as FAR 125 instead of FAR 91,
Which means, I have to have trained pilots to our JEGE Gereral Operations Manual
that we have approved by the FAA, in ditching, water survival, aircraft
evacuation etc,
When I had Bill Hammond, I was a full crew in Boeing, now I can't just hire a
part time guy for one flight on short notice, since I personally have to train
him to our operation, (its no big deal, but is FAA approved). I still have
Morrison to fly as engineer but very limited usage.
I want to make the best choice.
- I am driving to orlando today and return S ' that is ok?
I'll only be 2 hours away, watch my daughte 'n a vollyball tournament.
