From: Larry Visoski <Ma> To: Je vacation <jeevacation®gmail.com> Cc: Rich Kahn Subject: Garmin update Date: Sun, 14 Feb 2016 14:54:01 +0000 Jeffrey Garmin appears out, Neil is in contact with Sandel Avionics who appear to have a solution and avionics package for our Boeing, See message from Neil, Sandel is the company he refers to below. Larry, I spoke to Garmin, but didn't look good. They said they need 2-3 years to free up their engineers. But I have a back-up plan. A company that usually does EFIS has come out with a full aircraft solution for Part 25 aircraft. From tip to tail including autopilot and weather radar. ADS-B compliant as well. They are supposed to call me today or tomorrow. I spoke to the Program Manager for the solution at length about your aircraft, she said she will pitch it up the chain, I received an email yesterday saying I spoke with Gerry Block this morning and he said he is highly interested in the project. We as a company have been looking for a customer that is willing to help us out in the Boeing sector. We know we have the solution, just don't have the fingertips to these end users. Thank you for bringing this to us, I believe the end user will be happier with this solution over the Garmin package anyways. FYI, this package is half the price of a Garmin full system. Gerry said he would call you directly. Let me know if you don't hear from him in the next couple of days. I copied and pasted the email, she sent me. I am not giving up Larry. I have one other manufacture I can if I need to, but it sounds like this manufacture definitely will work with us to ensure we get something in your aircraft. Garmin, unfortunately just didn't have the engineering support. I know this is not what you want to hear, we have several people here that will be on the conference call to include the DER team. I will be able to update you then, I know that doesn't help you with the 1700 meeting you have with the boss, but it is the best I have right now. Pm in New York and meeting with the boss around 5 PM if you are able to get me some estimates and explanation of how the process would work an email This is only budgetary numbers, just to get an idea what we're looking at nothing I would hold your hand to the fire., thanks again Larry Sent from my iPhone On Feb 1, 2016, at 5:21 PM, Neil Simon < > wrote: Larry, My Garmin rep was here last week and we were discussing the 727 again. We are finalizing a good date for the meeting at Garmin. I have the pricing from the DER team and most of the parts. I will get a semi firm quote to you all no later than Wednesday so Mr. Epstein has an idea of what we are looking at.
