Jeffrey,
pls fwd sketches of stripe you are thinking of using at you leisure,.
normally Boeing uses what is called Boeing Gray, factory light gray for wings,.gives the factory new airline look., its a thick
epoxy type paint that seal fuel leaks on wings.,
do you want to use Boeing gray for wings? since you are going with silver for Fuselage, it would look nice.
message from Paint shop,.
Silver/metal flake paint requires clear coat, more material/labor/ expense:
Larry,
I have enough Boeing 707 grey in stock right now to do the wings if you are really sure and will tell me in writing to
go ahead, they will be painted this week.
I also want to ensure that the boss understands that all metallic silver will cost $50,000 more in labor and will
increase the materials cost by 20,000.
Once we have finals, I will adjust and send a new paint contract.
We can conference call this afternoon to discuss if need be.

Larry,
We need to get some final decisions and make sure we are on the same page, so we can order the paint.
Here are some layouts that show the fuselage in silver. It is a lot darker without having any white.
I can't find the color "stonehendge silver" do you have more info on this?
