I also served as President of the Scientific Association of Hellenic Medical Students, which is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Europe. This is where my deep interest in politics and interest in shaping my environment arose. During this period, my team and I achieved significant milestones for the medical community and Greece in general. Over the last ten years, I have been working in London as an eye surgeon, having been accepted into one of the most competitive ophthalmology training programmes in the world. Alongside medicine, I am involved in non-profit medical work in Greece and the UK for under-privileged people and young doctors.
