Brice.
Just tracked this again at noon today, it is out for delivery from Albuquerque terminal at 9:46 AM
today, your guess is as good as mine as to the delivery time but you can call me at anytime up
until about 10PM.
I found the HD cable on line Kordz model Pro HD 2000 20 meter cable as recomended by Sony
as working with 4K at this length( about 65 feet). It is available from a company located in Miami
that only offers ground shipping which would take about 5 days and they are only open Mon-Fri,
as is the manufacturer, Kordz products who are in Sunnyvale,CA. I would reccomend the
Manufacturer as they could probably provide Fedex but neither are availible by phone until
Monday. I tried calling Sony projector support, as the maufacturer does not claim 4K support on
this cable, as the Sony Projector tech told me, and they also are only open Mon-Fri.
In reading the manual for the media player, they call for Cat7 cable, which may or may not be
available locally at CSC cable in Albuq.. I called one of their employees at home and he told me
they were not yet selling Cat 7 but had some samples of it...that would be a Monday answer as
well. In my opinion, the existing Cat5 cables are only supplying the internet to the player and the
Cat7 may be just wishful thinking. At the current speeds you have, the cat5 should be adequate

and there are two of them running to the rack location( I think) from the unused cats to HDMI
converter at the projector location.
Realistically, the only available info on the tablet was viewed by me on the SOny website prior to
my survey and the way this has gone, I don't know how to assess this until it is in hand.
We, of course, will be only happy to assist you as you so desire.
I got about 6" of snow at my house last night but I don't know how you were affected there.

Jim

Jim
a couple of questions
1.How long will it take to get specified HDMI Cable?
2.Can one of the existing Cat 5 cables be used for internet feed to multi media player to
equipment cabinet?
3.When do you expect to receive tablet.?
regards
Brice Gordon
