was 16 years old, told her that EPSTEIN was interested in
meeting her. She said that EPSTEIN wanted to fly her out and help her with
college. recalled that she was 16 at this time because she had taken
a trip and she wrote about this in her journal. is

the trip. EPSTEIN paid for ticket although did not recall how
she actually received the ticket. recalled the flight was after
Christmas but before New Years Eve. It was a commercial flight but
was not sure which airline or airport she flew out of. flew alone,
which was not abnormal for her. This was her first trip to New York that
she could remember.

a big deal for at the time. EPSTEIN's driver picked them up
and drove them to EPSTEIN's townhouse. While at the townhouse, met
EPSTEIN. At the house, saw his driver and another staff member.
EPSTEIN was casual and friendly. They sat in his office and EPSTEIN asked
questions about her future, and going to college. EPSTEIN talked
about UCLA and stated he could pull some strings there. EPSTEIN gave
a tour of his house. was very impressed. EPSTEIN gave and
champagne. He then sent them off with the champagne. recalled
taking the bottle home that night. The cork to the bottle went off in the
middle of the ni ht which scared them because they thought someone was
breaking into apartment. They called the police.
The second occasion she met EPSTEIN during this trip was at a public
movie theatre. took the subway to meet EPSTEIN at the movie
theater. They went to see "12 Monkeys". EPSTEIN sat in between and
inside the theater. vision was somewhat obscured of
After the movie began, EPSTEIN put his hand on leg for her to hold
his hand. They held hands, fingers interlocked and it was very
uncomfortable for EPSTEIN rubbed arm with his hands, and her
leg and foot using his foot. recalled her memory was refreshed of
this incident by reading her journal. When EPSTEIN engaged with he
let go of hand, but would reengage after he was done with her.
did not talk to her sister about this. At the end of the night, they
hugged goodbye and EPSTEIN told "Let's keep in touch". They
continued phone contact after this. recalled her phone number
starting with a lillarea code back then. really liked EPSTEIN and
wanted this to go well because it was her boss and he could help them.

returned to Phoenix in January and went back to school. During
this time period, she prepared and did research for her trip. looked
up organizations for college, looked up Africa and thought of things to talk
about with EPSTEIN. She talked to him several times via land line between
January and April. In April, traveled to New Mexico. She remembered
this was April because they went to see the movie "Primal Fear" and
recently looked up the release date of that film. was at the
time. At the time, did not realize that was traveling to New
Mexico. mother spoke to EPSTEIN on the phone prior to this trip.
At the time, was busy with school and not concerned about the
details. knew GHISLAINE MAXWELL was going to be there which gave her
comfort. had talked to a lot about MAXWELL and that's how she
knew the name. MAXWELL seemed to be the big sister type to
was excited for to meet MAXWELL. recalled EPSTEIN saying that
MAXWELL would be there. felt she had no choice about whether she
could go or not. mother spoke to EPSTEIN multiple times on the
phone about both EPSTEIN told her mother that was
going to be put with a group of multiple students in New Mexico. The
students were to be staying in dorms as this was supposed to be a student
trip. MAXWELL was supposed to be a chaperone.
recalled that she flew commercially and was picked up at the
airport by a male driver. The driver waited for at the airport
holding a sign with her name on it. This driver was a different driver than
the driver in New York. was not sure how the ticket was sent to her.
She believed she was there for an entire weekend. recently conferred
with her mother on this time period. Her mother told her that she picked
her up from school and drove her straight to the airport. returned
home on Sunday. When she first arrived, met MAXWELL. She recalled
MAXWELL had a British accent and was charming. MAXWELL already knew a lot
aboutU felt like she knew MAXWELL. MAXWELL gave a tour
of the ranch. There was an old movie set on the ranch. It was a massive
property.
They took into town, and visited a natural grocery store. MAXWELL
picked out a henna hair dye for MAXWELL and went on a shopping
trip and thought that EPSTEIN was present for this. They went to a
cowboy store and tried on cowboy boots. This made feel special.

Back at the house, EPSTEIN and MAXWELL stayed together in a small
area, maybe a small house on the property. The ranch was currently under
construction. At one point, MAXWELL told to give EPSTEIN a foot
massage. MAXWELL showed/instructed how to massage his feet.
was uncomfortable but MAXWELL set the tone with a joking tone and just
followed her lead.
talked with MAXWELL about what she wanted to do with her life, and
about going to college. talked about her sister. They talked about
school projects and homework that she had brought with her. MAXWELL
knew that was a junior in high school because they talked about how
the following year would be a senior and would need to start applying
for college. talked about her upcoming
MAXWELL and EPSTEIN all went to the movies together. did
not want to go but did not protest because MAXWELL was going to be there.
thought that MAXWELL was EPSTEIN's girlfriend so therefore the same
experience would not happen again. While outside the mall/movie theater
area, MAXWELL joked with EPSTEIN and pulled down his sweatpants a little bit
- MAXWELL "pantsed" him. Inside the movie theater, they saw
EPSTEIN again held hand, rubbed her arm, and was not trying to hide
this from MAXWELL.
At some time back at the ranch, MAXWELL asked if she had ever had a
massage. MAXWELL told her that she should get one, and offered to massage
MAXWELL set up the table in room area, but the table was
still visible from the main living space at the ranch. was aware that
the door was open and that EPSTEIN may have been able to observe this. For
this massage, was either totally nude, or just in her underwear. At
the end of the massage, MAXWELL had lie on her back and she pulled
down the sheet so that chest was exposed. MAXWELL was rubbing
around chest. was not sure if this was normal or not, but she
felt uncomfortable and was concerned that EPSTEIN would be able to see
this. This massage ended normally. A few months after this incident,
recalled telling her then boyfriend about it.
recalled that she told him that EPSTEIN could see her during this

recalled one morning being in her pajamas in her bed, when EPSTEIN
came into the room and got into d with EPSTEIN told her that he
wanted to cuddle with her. did not want him to come into bed with her
but he said it iiii i iiking manner so she felt she couldn't say no. EPSTEIN
spooned told EPSTEIN that she had to go to the bathroom to get
out of it. MAXWELL was not directly in the room as this was happening but
MAXWELL was in the area and aware of what was going on. It wasn't a secret
between EPSTEIN and MAXWELL. did not discuss these incidents with
EPSTEIN or MAXWELL.
recalled that the last day on the ranch she was on an outdoor patio
with MAXWELL studying using index cards. asked MAXWELL for help. At
this point, MAXWELL seemed less interested i and her studies.
then packed up and the driver took her to the airport. When said
goodbye to EPSTEIN, he told that they should continue to talk, and
that they will need to talk about this trip they were planning. felt
this trip was the "carrot" that EPSTEIN used to keep them talking. When
arrived home her mother later told her that she was quiet. was
not 100% sure if she had further contact with either EPSTEIN or MAXWELL from
this point on. had no journal entries after the New Mexico trip.

MAXWELL a lot and may have minimized her involvement in fear of getting some
details wrong. Additionally, knew that EPSTEIN was the "worst bad guy
involved".
