Full speed ahead to AY 2018-2019! Lots has happened since our last tete-a-tete thanks to a great deal of support from Dan Neuman, Judy Smith, and Stephanie White, new Chair of the Neuroscience Program. I'm now an adjunct professor in Integrative Biology & Physiology, an Associate Clinical Prof in Neurology, Lecturer at the newly-separate Music School, and teaching all three quarters - and much better positioned to advance our ideas about establishing the nation's #1 Center for Music, Brain Science, and Medicine at UCLA. There is also a possibility I and Medical Director David Alexander will establish the world's first Theratainment Center at the new UCLA-Cedars California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City, a neurorehab-focused, 130+ bed inpatient facility that's the largest west of the Mississippi.
