She can speak with a duty agent who will open a case which will send it to the appropriate office. The number is and tell them that I told her to speak to the Duty Agent. Let me know if she has any issues doing that. On May 21, 2020 4:43 PM, amy edelstein < > wrote: EFTA01651156 His name is r, DO lie lives in San Fransisco. I haven't seen this client since the beginning of March and she reached back out to me today asking for help. She's gotten the runaround with local PD and going to the Family Justice Center in Newark back in December. Apparently she just told me that he showed up at her house last week (from California) at midnight banging at her door and she was terrified. She agreed to meet him the nets morning and he drove with her threatening her again. He has since left back to California but continues to have other people call her on his behalf. She said that she went tot the local PD today to file a restraining order but they said it would be complicated since courts are closed and some fo the major crimes happened in December in California, although much of the continued stalking and threats have continued from Dec-current via phone, text, email. Would you be able to reach out to her? She gave me consent to provide you with her information. Let me know what you're comfortable with. Thank you so much. She came to me back in December actually through She lives in NJ and had a very serious story with a man she had been on and off with living in California. In December when she went to visit him, after he became jealous, he assaulted her, kidnapped her telling her he was going to kill her, while he kept her in a car for 12 hours. Eventually he let her o and board a plane back to NJ where he kept her phone and belongings. It's a very long story. She came up in a FB her employer left asking if anyone could help her employee with a serious DV/stalking situation and that's how I ended up with her. Since then, she's tried different tactics to try to diffuse the situation, break up with him, etc. He has threatened to kill her family. Apparently he is also a pilot and threatens to come to NJ (he has been there before and knows her address) and she can't seem to get away from him. Is this something that you could help with?
