Hello
It sounds li=e there are additional fees attached such as the student health services f=e ($352), the
university services fee (usually $135) and perhaps a few oth=rs. Look at your invoice closely which you can access in My
New Scho=l. If you have questions, you will want to consult student accounts = [email protected]

It does sound high to me and ='m wondering if you are being assessed the university student health
i=surance charge for Spring. Do you typically take university health i=surance? That is approximately $1780 or so for
Spring and, when comb=ned with your 1 credit tuition and the fees above, would total approximate=y the amount you
reference.
Best,

Join us this Friday for the kickoff to the Spring semester =nvironmental Studies film
series featuring "Life and Debt," an award-winning film=narrated by the incomparable and award-winning author
Jamaica Kincaid: =AO <http://www.lifeanddebt.org/>
In a seri=s of amazingly shot segments, filmmaker Stephanie Black =akes the viewer
inside the Jamaican economy, to examine the circumstances =f the textile, banana, milk, potato and poultry industries.
The inside loo= exposes Kingston's "Free Economic Zones", where workers sew=clothes for American corporations like
Tommy Hilfiger and Brooks Brothers =or $5 a day on large swaths of "nationless" land ringed by barbe= wire. The film
earned raves from critics, for it achie=es the near impossible: It turns the stale subject of structural adjustmen= policies
and debates about export markets and free trade into a riveting =arrative about race, space and the environment. Black
does not shape her f=lm around droning talking heads. Rather "Life and Debt" is told =s a journey. The "eye" of the film
is a typical American -- a pe=son much like Black, who comes to Jamaica as a tourist and at first sees o=ly swaying palm
trees and natives splashing in warm turquoise water. =/span>This film follows up Black's "H2-=orker," a 1990
documentary about Caribbean sugar cane laborers in Flo=ida.
Free lunch provided.
