My response was that I thought it possible but risky for several reasons. Lee asked if we might actually 'do' the maneuver while he went along. He offered a lot of reasoning for asking but I reminded him I took instruction and not issued them and I doubted I would get that instruction to try. No more was said. * months later, at the same time AYH was abandoning P dock due to a lack of a management agreement, more questions were asked and answered about where the Barge may be moved to from its berth at the end of P dock. Again, I said I had no say in the matter yet I did say I thought it unlikely it would move as it was my understanding that the owners of P dock had an agreement with the Principal and it did not hinge on AYH management. A week later I was told by Lee that the barge would remain in its berth at P dock. (Where that information came from I do not know) * a month or so after AYH apparently regained managerial control of P dock, the dock itself began to physically fail. The pilings and deck supports behind Al Days charter boats separated and the dock walkway dipped into the ocean on the westward side. Also noticed were the loose and falling deck boards next to the barge. It was at this time, that conversations rose about the entire dock structure. These were basically dock scuttlebutt/rumors/complaints and I paid little attention to it. It was, however, the beginning of coincidental information coming to my attention about rebuilding the structure. Lots of rumors circulated about it with some EFTA00667861 being more credible than others. The only conversation I had with Lee that had a topic other than operation of the barge was in response to his question of where else the barge might go with P dock not being there and no available place in AYH. I responded that I thought a place could be made for it at Vessup Point Marina (or Latitude 18) and only "IF" it was the decision to do so by those who had the authority to make that decision. Anything said was in response to a seemingly reasonable question for factual, operational information. I assumed it was information needed to make him better informed as a manager and was in no way intended to make decisions for those who I am responsible to. If you have any other questions, please ask them. EFTA00667862
