He had details on setting up a professional sound solution that may be required for a sound engineer. Also, he recommended a couple of desktop solutions more in line with what I think you would want. Apparently the Focal speakers were at MacWorld 2009 and are designed to offer studio quality. Let me know if you still want to go with the Logitech or prefer one of these alternatives.
