Subject: Inquiry from Manhattan DA's Office re Epstein

Hi everyone — I'm not really sure who should I address this inquiry to, so you seemed like a good place to start.
I got a call last week right as I was leaving for the funeral from Deborah Morse in the appellate division at the
Manhattan DA's office. She was responding to Jeffrey Epstein's appeal of the Manhattan DA's decision to
classify him as a Level 3 sex offender in New York based upon his Florida state conviction. Epstein is arguing
that he should not be classified so severely because his Florida state conviction only relates to one victim. I do
not believe that is accurate, but the state documents do not list any initials.
Ms. Morse has asked us for a copy of the signed NPA, a list of the victims in our case, and a copy of the
transcript of the state plea proceedings. She also was going to talk to her supervisor about possibly asking to get
a copy of our grand jury transcripts. I told her that our list of victims (the list we provided to Epstein) has never
been made public. The only person it has been provided to other than Epstein's counsel was Bob Josefsberg, as
the attorney-representative pursuant to the NPA. I had expected Ms. Morse to put her request in a formal letter,
but I haven't received one.
In any event, before we turn this over, I think that we need to advise Epstein's counsel of the request, at least
with regard to the NPA, which is still confidential by its terms. What are your thoughts?
