Perhaps I am labeling this incorrectly as a reminder...I have always just typed in what I want to be `reminded' of at a certain time from my calendar (be it the google calendar on my desktop or from my phone) and it sends me an email with the reminder or the appt I have made or whatever it is that is in my calendar...
