He once was taking out his frustration on a United Customer Service rep when I told him you get more bees with honey.
He quickly quipped at me and said, "that is your theory but mine is that you get more honey if you demand it!" I'm not
sure that will work while in traction O.

OMG...this is just terrible! I can't imagine! that must have been some awful fall! I wish him all the best
and a miraculous speedy recovery. He will have to be strong willed through it all! ugh

6 weeks no bending so we think he is going at the end of this week to a Spaulding type of rehab facility for maybe
the 6 weeks (yikkers). The problem is he needs to have his legs straight in these braces and absolutely no bending.
He can-but needs strong help and their house has everything on the 2nd floor. The first floor is
the kitchen and living room with a powder room not even a shower so if he goes upstairs he is not coming down for
6 weeks unless someone carries him :+I
The 6 weeks of recovery and 6 weeks of intense therapy. This is such a bummer for him, I feel terrible.

I'm trying to get word to some of Larry's close friends.
Larry was at a conference in Antigua and had a bad fall and ended up in surgery yesterday at MGH for two ruptured
quad tendons. He is doing well but he has a very long recovery. 3mo. no travel.
I see he is responding to some emails but in and out today given surgery was yesterday.
Happy to give you an update on the phone if you like just call Otherwise, I'm sure he would love to
hear from you as he has his phone on him.
