It is in that spirit that I am sending this message. Approximately 3 years ago the country of Montenegro, because of Landmark's outstanding environmental record and its quality success in Ireland and Spain, invited Landmark to come to find a location for the first golf community in that country. After a year of investigation, we found almost no flat land and no dirt, but we did find one of the most beautiful countries I have every seen. We have stayed in close contact with the politicians of the country and in particularly with its Ambassador, Miodrag Vlahovic. Today the Ambassador took Doug and Ito a ceremonial lunch before he began his summer vacation and I told him of your marina concept, of your high quality, and that you were a man of your word. He immediately suggested two sites in Montenegro; the Bay of Kotor, a large bay, but has two ship building units and one of those was taken over by Peter Monk, et. al., to build the Port of Kotor (a mega-yacht marina). The other, which I believe he thought was superior, is still owned by the govemment and he thought available. He also would be interested in introducing you to a possible marina development at Bar, which the government owns and he believes could be enlarged. Also, because of his prior positions in the government, he is very close to significant people in Croatia and would like to show you opportunities there. EFTA00772846 Ambassador Vlahovic will be leaving for Montenegro on the 3rd of August, will be in Montenegro for a month and will return in September. He is a good, honest, entrepreneurial government official and if you would like to meet him either in the U.S. or in Montenegro, please let me know and I will arrange it. If you have no interest, let me know and if you would like further information, I will try to provide it.
