Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable.
What might have been is an abstraction

What might have been and what has been

Interesting way of putting it Brian. It seem=, a bit, to incorporate your ideas about signs being important. It w=uld also
seem that it could overlap with Ruth's theory - Ruth also seems t= be saying that at any decision point there are a
number of possible futures out there and you can choose which one to=go to through a process.
I tend towards the block universe view myself but there's a lot of good dis=ussion to be had here.

The future is not here now: what is here now is the process that will lead =o the future. Think of it being like a bus with
a destination on it:=that sign indicates where it will be, but currently it is somewhere else.&=bsp; And by getting on a
particular bus we can determine our own future, but we are not there at the moment.
