I believe this alternative makes much more sense and creates a nice entrance courtyard in an Islamic Garden style. The courtyard walls help to block the wind and create enclosure. We can include windows in the walls if we want to have views out. I have also eliminated the earthwork mound on top of the ridge to the East and created terraced lawn areas.
