I only skimmed the defense submission, and I want to read it more carefully over the weekend, so I may have a few additional thoughts. I do think the memo is well done, and I continue to support their position as a general matter, though I note herein that we should consider not necessarily just adopting the defense's misprision proposal, but rather recommend a plea to a lesser felony as a general matter, which could include obstruction.
