It’s one thing to level charges at an elected member of Congress or the Administration. It’s a completely different matter to target a staff member – especially someone who John McCain says “represents the best about America.” How much money will Republicans in Congress waste to try and bring down Hillary Clinton? We’ve already seen that the so-called House Benghazi Committee has wasted 18 months and over $5 million. How much taxpayer money is Senator Grassley’s Judiciary Committee wasting on its anti-Hillary Clinton campaign? We know how much how much money and staff are being devoted to investigating Secretary Clinton in the House. It’s $5 million to date, or $8,000 each day. How many millions are the American people paying for the Judiciary Committee to duplicate the House’s political attacks? I know the senior Senator from Iowa cares about the proper use of taxpayer resources. And with his reputation for being a good steward of federal dollars, Senator Grassley should be willing to tell us about the resources his committee is spending to investigate Secretary Clinton.
