Subject: Questions from the Daily Mail
Hello
I am the Daily Mail's New York reporter covering the Jeffrey Epstein/Prince Andrew sex allegations affair.
As part of our detailed inquiries, we request answers to the following questions, all in the public interest, by 12
noon (New York time) tomorrow (January 17).
EFTA00866501
1. Did private investigators working for Mr Epstein put Palm Beach detectives under surveillance as they
investigated his sex crimes in 2005/2006?
2. Who instructed private investigators working for Mr Epstein to carry out 'aggressive surveillance' of his
victims/accusers?
3. Was Mr Epstein and/or his lawyers/representatives tipped off in advance of the police warrant being
executed on his mansion in Palm Beach?
4. Why did a computer seized by police end up in the hands of Mr Epstein's private investigators?
5. Why did Mr Epstein and/or his legal team recruit former Assistant US Attorney Bruce Reinhart to work for his
defence team? Did Mr Epstein pay for Mr Reinhart to represent MMwhen she was deposed?
6. Did Mr Dershowitz put pressure on Florida state attorney Barry Krischner — a Democrat - not to prosecute the
case, before the FBI investigated Mr Epstein?
7. Has Mr Epstein sought to win favours by making hundreds of thousands of dollars in political donations?
8. Has Mr Epstein ever asked Vanity Fair and/or its editor not to report on the sex allegations made against him?
9. Was the Duke of York mentioned in correspondence/communications between Mr Epstein's lawyers and
Government lawyers, ahead of the 2007 non prosecution agreement?
That's it.
