Good afternoon Cecile:
I asked our consultant, URS, to look into the possibility of placing a hanger in the position
requested adjacent to the GA apron at the Cyril E. King Airport. They believe that the approval can
be received if they undertake the work as defined in the scope of work in their proposal attached-
Supplemental Agreement No. 8.
The end result will be a placement of the hanger that is consistent with our development plan and
a site that is acceptable to the FAA.
Should I tell them to proceed with the work as proposed?
Thanks,
Dale A. Gregory

I talked to Armando and the FAA's position on pavement life is 20 years, so if there weren't other constraint
issues, the Port Authority could build on the GA Ramp area. FAA's position however is that srr needs all the
ramp space it has, otherwise you wouldn't be parking aircraft on taxiways. Armando really wants the
Port Authority to reopen discussions with the college on possible land swaps. He is looking forward to
reviewing possible new GA apron utilization plans, but believes striking a deal with the college will provide
the most benefit to the Airport.
Fred indicated he could find several of the past exhibits he has completed for the GA area, for further
discussion at our meeting in December.
Please call if you have any questions on the attached.
