Dear Jeffrey,
My heart is fine, but early last week it became clear that I had lost half of my blood. I spent four days in the
hospital getting transfused and prodded, poked in every orifice, to search for bleeding. It is likely that I was
menstruating from my gut and with a change in anticoagulant this week it appears that the bleeding has stopped.
I am a bit tired, a little anemic, but on the mend.
I will try and call this weekend to learn how Jeffrey is doing.
Best,
Richard
