Please see attached a slide we put together with some initial thinking of existing interest groups that are aligned with our vision. Would love to know your thoughts-- do any of the ones we put together jump out to you? So excited about the possibility of collaborating. Kelly was a wonderful guide We would love to identify a number of PI's and students who could correlate inflammation , emotions , facial expressions , epigenetic and genetic activity etc . Any introductions would be extremely helpful . We will also look into this . We realize how busy you are and v grateful for the time you gave us and for helping to organize the tour . I really liked the idea of framing things around inflammation. It makes so much sense! I think the key thing that we would need to do as a next step to collaborate is to find one or more faculty members at the Media Lab that might be a good connection. Currently, I'm so swamped with administrative things that for real traction we'll want a proper group to be engaged. I'm not sure how deep of a tour you took, but did you see any projects that seemed to have a good connection? Possibly the next step is for me to reach out to a few faculty members or maybe students... - Joi On Dec 5, 2017, at 12:08 PM, Deepak Chopra < > wrote: Hi Joi, It was very nice to meet you and visit the Media Lab for the first time after hearing so much about it from Leena. I left feeling inspired by the anti-disciplinary framework, commitment to action, and most importantly your leadership. I was very impressed with how much mindfulness and elevating consciousness is clearly a big part of you and therefore how you impact a place like the Media Lab and it's discourse. As I mentioned in the meeting, I'm dedicating the rest of my time now to this vision of catalyzing innovation and action in prevention, and seeing inflammation as a common thread. Now is the time to transform our health and wellbeing. We are at the stage where we are exploring key partners for our project- and after our meeting, I would love to explore more seriously with you how we might be able to collaborate given our shared vision. One idea I had is to actually be part of the Media Lab, maybe incubate there if that's a possibility. The two examples shared with us that made me think of this are The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at MIT and Scratch. That is one possibility and you might have others too. Do let us know how we can follow up more constructively to explore further. Thank you once again for your generosity and leadership. The world needs it now more than ever before. Congratulations once again to you and your wife on your baby daughter. She will be the master consciousness teacher for us on our journey. Putting you and Deepak in touch in this email. We both left the Media Lab extremely energized and with many ideas. Will put some thoughts together on next steps on the potential to do something together. With gratitude, Leena Sent from my iPhone EFTA00927538
