The protesters toppled police barricades and made their way to the just outside the entrance of the San Francisco-area hotel where he was scheduled to speak. That forced Trump's motorcade to stop farther away from the venue, and thanks to a news helicopter overhead, America watched the GOP front-runner and his security detail rapidly move from the road, up a grassy incline and through a back door.
