Jeffrey
You are correct TCAS 7.1 has been known for years,
That's why I installed in GIV during DU885, when I read the article on Dec 8th and realized the deadline had
passed I called Mike Robinson Boca Avionics to ask about leadtime to upgrade B727. Mike worked avionics
issues during our A2 check in PBI in August on the B727. We actually sent the Transponder out for repair during
that time, Mike told me he asked Morrison if he wanted to upgrade to 7.1 at this time, Mike told me Morrison
said we don't fly the plane to Europe and he would wait to install and obviously forgot, Which makes no sense,
I should have caught this, and queried Larry M about having 7.1 installed.
the Dec 1st deadline caught me by surprise,
My fault
I will have Neil from Banyan expedite our upgrade if possible.
Thx
Larry
